I purchased a Lenovo Notebook through the assistance of a more knowledgeable in computers
of a young man who guided me from using Desk Tops because of traveling from New York to
New Hampshire and Florida from time to time. Have built my own Desk Top and the idea of
using a Notebook instead for traveling seems to accomaodate me. I am past my 88 years and
still have my interest in computers.Despite my request for having a system with a motherboard
with 400 FBS, a processor of Intel Duo Core and 2 Gigs Ram , I have instead this notebook ,
Lenovo 0768EKU 3000 N 100:
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Board>Lenovo Capell Valley (napa) CRB
SERIAL # 41W8025ZIZCZ97435
Bus Clock > 133 MH
Processor> 1.60 GIG INTEL CORE DUO
80 GIGHZ Harddrive
Serial # L3LL468
I am disappointed, but I use it as best as I could understand it
Some knowledgable views of whether to upgrade the system for speed and performance will
assist me towards my direction
Thank you---Lenny

How much ram does it have?

Your base FSB may be 133, but that means the processor FSB is 533. The absolute fastest notebooks now are 200 base FSB/800 processor FSB. You cannot upgrade yours. You do have dual core.

The only reasonable notebook upgrades are more ram and bigger hard drives.
