Old IBM Thinkpad T22
Hey guys,
I have an IBM Thinkpad T22 and installed Windows XP Pro SP2 on it, and I want to upgrade the RAM and add another harddrive. What do i need to do? What kind of parts do i need? I read the instructions on the IBM website but they dont tell me what PIN of RAM i need to buy. Please guide me, thanks |

You may use generic PC133 SDRAM in the 144 pin SODIMM form factor. You have 2 slots, you may put 256mb in each slot for a total of 512mb. That will max it out.
The T22 use standard 2.5" IDE drives. If you want an *additional* drive, you must remove the optical drive and get one of these: http://www.wholesalelaptopbattery.co...X30%20X31.html There may be a bios limitation on how large a drive you can get. |
