Hi I'm new to the fourms here. I was considering doing some upgrading to my laptop for some of the new games that have just come out recently. My computer specs are below.
MOBO: CLEVO D900K VT8341B Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4600+ RAM: 2x 512 MB - not sure what speed or brand Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX Memory: 160 GB (2x 80 GB RAID 0 5400 RPM) Operating System: Windows XP I have a few questions. First, would just a RAM upgrade allow me to be able to run crysis smoothly on Medium settings? If so, how much and what speed/type would be good to get? Also, I was wondering if I would be able to upgrade the video card on this model laptop? I bought the computer from Cyberpower, but I'm not sure they do upgrades like alienware does, but I haven't checked. Either way, is it physically possible to take my 7900 GTX out and put the, say, 8800 GT in if I needed/wanted to? Thank you very much for your time! |
