Hot touchpad

The Acer Aspire 5602WLMi has a touchpad thet, especially when gaming, gets quite warm to the touch. Now I'm not sure if touchpads operate at this temp but there is a vent directly underneath it.

The attached image is of the back of my notebook with it's cover removed. The area outlined in red is just below the touchpad, as you can see there are no major heat producers ,apart from what looks like the southbrige, in the area.

I’m assuming you’re not using the touchpad, but have still noted its temperature. Unless you notice the temperature adversely affecting the machine, you probably have little to worry about. If it really bothers you, you could try something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834997239 The reviews on these things are mixed, so I would suggest you do your homework before making a purchase.
