Laptop

Hi
I am looking to purchase a laptop never had one before know nothing about them, just fancy getting one probly spend £400 could you give me some general things to look for with referance the spec

What are you looking for in a laptop? Do you need lots of battery life, low weight, gaming capability? What size would you like, something very portable (12"), midsize (14-15") or large screen (17")?

I thought that I had explained that I know nothing about Laptops, I was hoping for a bit of help on what's a sort of minium requirements, but thanks for the link.
I'll try another forum they might be more helpfull

You can just go to Dell, they can offer you something that quite pleasant with your budget.
