Notebook battery help please?
Hey guys... it's been a LONG time I know. Well I'm back after a few years of life change and now I've got a Presario C727US with a stock 6 cell battery. I'd love to upgrade to a longer lasting battery if possible. I talked to the online tech support at HP and they say the largest battery they offer is the 8 cell battery, part number KC991AA. They were suspiciously adamant about this being the "largest compatible" battery available for this notebook. I'm wondering if there's another battery maker that possibly makes larger aftermarket models for this unit?
Any help at all on this will be greatly appreciated!

They are probably telling the truth about it being the largest battery. I haven't seen anything larger than an 9 cell laptop battery. The generic laptop batteries are all over the net but I doubt they are as high quality as OEM batteries but they cost less.
Did some looking and I found an HP with an 12 cell. But it looks like it sticks out the bottom quite a bit so I wouldn't think there is any thing bigger than that. 12 cells is pretty big.
