Laptop for business student

What laptop would you recommend for a business student?

Features I want it to have:
  • At least one 6-cell lithium ion with 2 battery slots
  • WIFI, Bluetooth and Ethernet integrated
  • CD/DVD burner
  • 1GB+ ram with upgradeable ram up to 4GB or more
  • At least 120GB+ SATA HDD (preferable 160GB+)
  • Fast at loading/starting programs (7200 RM)
  • At least 667MHz
  • At least 1MB L2 cache (preferable 2MB+)
  • 3+ USB 2.0
  • 5 in 1 card reader (SD Memory Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card)
  • Good quality sound card
  • Keyboard, touchpad
  • Windows Vista Home Premium+
  • Anti-glare if possible
  • Must be mobile! (less than 15.4")
  • Silent - no humming/annoying noises
  • Durable, must last at least for 4 years

I won't be playing any hardcore games like Bioshock or even games like WoW with this laptop

This laptop is mainly for school purposes - taking notes, making presentations, etc.

I also will use this laptop to play movies + music

My budget is $1500 (CDN), but I want to spend less than $1000 (CDN).

Also, I'm in no rush to buy a laptop, but I'm hoping to buy one before school starts (Sept '08).

Dell Inspiron 1420 or Vostro 1400 (whichever is cheaper; they're both the same laptop), with a 9-cell battery (it is not going to be easy to find something with a modular bay in your price range).
