Fujitsu Siemens Laptop Screen Faults Yet Again.

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi1505 which has been really unreliable from day one. The first laptop I got the screen failed within 2 weeks. I got a replacement laptop but seven months later the screen went again totally. I sent it away under warranty and it took them 6 weeks to repair it, the problem was a screen backlight failure. Now the laptop is 15 months old and 3 months out of warranty and surpirse surprise the screen is playing up again. This time it is flickering sometimes and it has went totally black twice, a reboot seemed to fix this. I am totaly fed up of this piece of junk as it was not really that cheap I guess (£550/$1100). I guess trying my luck with Fujitsu is a waste of time as it is out of warranty, still feel really annoyed paying so much money for an inferior product. Failing that I could try changing the screen invertor as these are fairly cheap and easy to get to. If it was the backlight I am not sure about the cost involved and it is also probably to hard for a DIY repair. Or maybe it could be something else. Just wonderd if anybody had any ideas what the problem may be as this hunk of junk is out of warranty
