Enabling Powernow? I can't!

Hey there,

My notebook's always full speed, and it's still 1.53GHz.

I can't get it to throttle down! The thing is, the Powernow driver is already inside the WinXP SP2 but it doesn't work!

ALso, my notebook is a Sony PCG-FR700 and w/ athlon XP-M 1800+.

Any ideas?
