need help choosing laptop

hey!
i have an option to buy a laptopin us! i have up to 1000$
tell me plz what r my best options!?

What are your intended primary uses? Are there any must-have features you need?

Can you purchase from Dell? They offer refurbished models, each with a full warranty I believe, at very nice prices.

So you are wanting something with good gaming capabilities for newer games? Any specific titles you plan to play alot?

Again, are you able to purchase from Dell's website.

I recently bought a HP DV9700, the laptop itself is really nice, not sure if I like Vista though.

don't have any specific titles! just gaming!
and may be i will be able to buy from dell i don't know!
i'm not from states i'm from israel and i'm visiting states so i want to buy there cause the prices are cheaper!

Anything you buy here is going to have a US-spec power adapter. The only way that is going to work in Israel is if it's 230v 50Hz compatible and you have the correct plug adapter. You also have to find out if Israel is going to let you bring one in when you return without paying more duty and taxes than you are saving.
