random bsod

A relative gave me her laptop to troubleshoot after she got some blue screens of death. These occur when Windows is loading or when I'm in Windows but not anytime before. Here's the funny thing. I'm at my home now and using this laptop, but it seems to work perfectly fine. I suspected a hardware failure, but I've run some tests and they all passed. Any suggestions on what might be wrong here? Overheating perhaps? (I'm using this machine on a desk now, not in my lap like I was when I first used it in my relative's apartment)

What I've done:
Tried booting into Safe Mode at her apartment (didn't work)
Ran Memtest86 for about 3 hours
Used SeaTools to check the hard drive out

The System:
Gateway notebook (not sure about the model #)
Windows Vista Home Premium
Centrino T5200 1.6GHz
2GB RAM
Running a Seagate HDD

The STOP 0x0000 codes can be Googled and or go to MS Knowledgebase to search and find solutions.
