Question Moving XP Thunderbird add book to Linux Thunderbird

I have found and copied my Address book on the desktop, XP Pro Thunderbird to a flash drive. Want to copy it into an Asus Eee PC copy of Thunderbird which runs Linux, and can not find the data Profile file. Reading some of the Thunderbird help files on line indicates there is a Profile Manager somewhere but I can not find it on the Eee.

In linux the mozilla, and thunderbird profiles are located in the(dot) .thunderbird and the .mozilla directories.
the . directories are hidden. So if you are copying from the GUI open your file manager and select view - show hidden files. From the command line ls -a will show all directories, and files.

Myself I just use the import function for boomarks, and address books. However If I'm transferring the whole profile I will copy it to the appropriate directory.
