what laptop would you buy for $500-600?
hey guys,
Where is the best place online or in store to find a quality no frills laptop for around $500? I will mainly be using for internet, DVD watching and would prefer a cd/dvd burner but would sacrifice this feature if i could get a better processor, more memory, and good battery life. Ive been looking on dell's website but was wondering what else is out there. I prefer it to not be too clunky and heavy. There is so many freakin options it drives me crazy and i want to get the best bang for my buck. Thanks for the help guys! |

Try refurbished dells.
Might want to see what newegg has to offer as well.

Refurbished Dells start at $409. Typically, it would be a 15", with a Celeron, 1 gig ram, DVD/CDRW combo drive, wireless, and Vista Basic. $469 will get you the same thing with Vista Home Premium, a dual core Pentium, and a DVDRW. $549 will get you 2 gigs ram. At this exact moment, there are over 1400 refurbished Inspiron and XPS laptops in the refurb outlet.
