Laptop Screen "Flickers"
Hello,
My HP notebook's screen flickers every now and than, usually when I am using excel or word. Any ideas what would be causing this issue? ![]() ![]() Thanks! |

It might have something to do with the refresh rate of your screen. Try going into display options and find the refresh rate and change it, I believe it should be at 60 hertz. If that doesn't work, hopefully someone has a solution for you

Thanks for the suggestion, that was one of the first things I checked. The refresh rate is at 60.

Connect it to an external monitor. If it does not flicker, your screen is on its way out - most likely the backlight or its transformer. If that flickers too, you have a Windows issue or a motherboard issue.

If it was a hardware issue, wouldn't it happen all the time?
Thanks. |
