Internal (mobo?) speaker volume

Sometimes when I'm playing a game or just typing (usually when holding down a button) the internal speaker beeps very loudly. Is this a motherboard speaker that i can turn off or turn down somehow?

This happens when you press too many buttons at the same time (usually 3 or 4). I don't think there is a way to turn it off.

If the internal speakers are beeping as a result of the multiple-key press issue, you can disable it, though you will be disabling all internal speaker noise. Go to the Device Manager, select View, "Show Hidden Devices." Under non-plus and play, select "Beep" and go to the drivers tab. Select "Stop." This will disable all beeps coming out of your internal computer speakers inside of Windows - I think this does not affect pre-boot speaker settings (ie. POST commands and such) so you shouldn't need to worry about missing a beep.
