Laptop recommendation, simple question
I was just about to buy an XPS M1530, but the Nvidia problems scared me off. I'm looking for a laptop that can game decently, has a good warranty, and isn't too heavy/hot... so I'm considering buying a used T60 or T61 with a decent GPU and warranty. Any recommendations of what to avoid or look for? I'm still bummed about finding out the terrible truth about the unholy Dell-Nvidia alliance :/

The defective nvidia chips should only effect the 8400 and 8600, so if you stay away from those you should be fine.

The T61's dedicated GPU (Quadro NVS 140M) is based on the 8400. If you want a good alternative, look at the Dell Studio laptops, or at any of the Montevina laptops that are now coming out.
