My notebook has wireless internet access and has builtin Bluetooth.
My cell phone has bluetooth also. Is there anyway I can use the Bluetooth so I could get the internet on my cell phone, so I could google, etc using my cell without logging around the laptop home? |

Posting the make and model number of the phone might help?
So your cell phone currently doesn't have the capibility to do internet and you want to attach a device to allow this? Might be easier to get a different phone.

I think bluetooth only works up to like 30 feet, so even if you could do this, you would still have to be pretty close to the laptop. And if you have a choice between doing internet stuff on a phone or a laptop, the laptop is much easier to use. Also, wifi and bluetooth are not the same concept. There are phones that allow you to connect to a wifi, but this has nothing to do with the bluetooth in your phone or in your laptop. You might want to use howard forums for best advice on this question.
