Cooling Pad
Just wondering if the "Cooling Pads" I see in mags for laptops really work or is that just a gimmick?

I have had this one for a couple of years now and it works great. It has two built in fans which are powered by a USB cord. My laptop exhausts the air out from the bottom so I use this cooler when I have the computer on my lap or when I'm laying in bed.

Thanks for the info. My wife's laptop battery keeps the bottom surface from laying flat. I just checked it and it actually stays a lot cooler than what I remember from one that is laying flat on the surface.
