60hertz monitor ability?

I just bought a new notebook from ibuypower.com So far I'm loving it but am having one problem. When trying to play Battlefield 2 the game acts like its gunna start, goes to a black screen, and then crashes back to desktop. Upon investingating the problem on BF2 message boards I discovered that BF2 requires the monitor to run at 60 hertz. I then went into my settings and attempted to change my laptop's monitor from 59herts to 60 however the only option available was the current 59. I e-mailed ibuypower and they told me to download the lastest display adapters....I did that and still no 60hertz.

Any ideas?

*PC in my sig is not my new notebook
