USB Wireless?
I am considering building an HTPC that is low profile. I love their size but have stayed away due to the limitations for add-on cards. The only things I would ever add is tv tuner, video card, or wireless card. I found acceptable tuner and video card, but can't find a low profile wireless card. Surely they exist. Also, you can get wireless from a USB adapter, any opinions on USB wireless devices?

I've been using wireless USB adapters for a few years and have found them to wok well for the most part. I've had the most success using Linksys USB adapters, other USB adapters such as DLink ones (thumbsized) that I have used had smaller range, but would work fine if I was in the same room as the router or within 20ft of the router.

This is low profile, and comes with both a standard and a half height bracket. |
