How do I open up an HP Pavillion dv6330?

Can anyone tell me how to open up my laptop to unclutter the heatsink?

I found a 'simple' guide on the internet but it was incredibly complicated (involving removing the keyboard and removing every screw imaningable. That frightened me and I gave up.

As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

A Sledge hammer will open it up pretty quick. Other then that, if you've seen the instructions you've seen what it'll take.

Yep, with a laptop, it's not easy. Replaced the screen in my Toshiba once... scared the crap outta me that i wouldn't get everything back the way it should go.
