AC adapter stoped working
i understand the best way to find this out would be to call tech support. but i really am not looking foward to calling india. so ill ask here first in case someone here can help me.
i bought my laptop at the start of the semester. with in the past couple days my plug stopped working. im sorta a thinker so. i wonder if its my laptop itself. (friends plug.... his works fine) i use it. wrap it up and stick it in my backpack. im not prepared to pay 80 bucks for a new AC Adapter from toshibia. http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/...HO&poid=319145 my luck it wont be covered.... i would post this in the toshiba forums but they dont seem to have one atleast for the united states. so anyway does anyone know if the AC adapter would be covered for breaking as result of normal use. -redstorm |

If there is no visible physical damage, it should be covered. If you do have to buy one, you should be able to find an aftermarket adapter a lot cheaper than 80 bucks. I buy 3rd party adapters for Dells for around $20.
