Question Laptop opening ?

Hello Guys,

A friend of mine has asked me to repair his SONY PCG 9H1M, but unfortunately I never open a LAPTOP for servicing before. My mundane task is to repair all kind of PC Tower and kind but I never look into a Notebook.
My question is how hard or daunting is to open a LAPTOP? Swapping the part or repairing is not a worry option but I mainly have a genuine qualms when it comes to open.
Thanks a lot folks for your guidings and tips.

Thierry.

I replaced my screen in my Toshiba notebook earlier this year which involved completely disassembling the unit. I got some pretty good info from this site that helped me get the thing apart:

Laptops are not hard to work on if you have good eyes (I keep a magnifying glass close by) and a very small Phillips tip screwdriver.
