Looking for a laptop screen

I hope it is OK/not breaking any rules by posting this here? thefultonhow let me know if it isn't OK. I'm just desperate to get MY LT fixed

My laptop is a Compaq Presario 2100 it is old I think going on 6 years but reliable the problem is the screen has a small scratch maybe almost a 1/4 long at the middle left side of the screen and just above that a red dead pixel that's been there awhile but the scratch is driving me crazy,I bump into screen by mistake and it is noticeable no matter what I do so before I go onto ebay or something like that I thought someone here might have one laying around for parts or something

Thanks PR but unfortunately I can get my paypal account fixed at the moment because I messed up registering on paypal awhile back and been trying to fix it for sometime now with no avail, Long story short I messed up registering my bank account with paypal so now they think I'm some kind of hacker

So I have had to do it the old fashion way...... Money order.

Thanks for the link anyways PR and I have been browsing Ebay sometimes I can find people with good feedback that still do it the old fashion way MO

I ordered a replacement screen for my Toshiba off ebay from seller browngranite. It took about an hour to put in place (it was just the screen, so I had to dismantle the laptop and screen assembly, not just swap entire unit).
