Help needed finding drivers - Toshiba Satellite
I need to find drivers for a Toshiba Satellite L45 S4687. I cannot find any for the following...
Audio device on high definition bus Ethernet controller Modem device on high definition audio bus Video controller Video controller (vga compatible) I have no cds for this computer. Please help. |

XP is not supported on that model, drivers do not exist. Hopefully, you didn't blow away the recovery partition so you can reinstall Vista.

XP will run on it, but there are no drivers available. What you see is the best it's going to get. Your friend failed to do his homework before trying to install XP.

You have to be much more specific about your hardware to find drivers, namely identify the individual components by manufacturer and chipset. I have to believe you can find XP drivers for much of what you describe.

It's a laptop, and if Toshiba doesn't have drivers, finding compatible drivers is like a needle in a haystack.

All day I am searching for drivers myself, I got the same model of Toshiba, so...after many hours of searching I found the 2 most important drivers:
Display Driver: intel graphics media accelerator 950 http://downloadmirror.intel.com/1683...inxp_14324.exe Wireless Driver: Atheros AR5BXB63 http://www.softwaredriverdownload.co...63_driver.html from the upper address goes to rapidshare http://rapidshare.com/files/12215146...b63_driver.exe Good Luck and tell me if you find the other drivers
