Dell studio 17 resolution

Hi guys, I need your help in deciding which resolution I should go with. I am looking to purchase a Dell studio 17 laptop, I've it customized with 256MB Ati Mobility Radeon HD 3650 with Bright, glossy widescreen 17 WLED display at 1440X900 resolution, should I stay with this screen or move it up to Hi resolution, glossy 1920X1200? I am not sure how much the difference it would make.

Also, the laptop will be running Vista home premium, I understand that Vista home premium doesn't allow me to join a domain, does that mean that if I use this laptop at school I won't be able to access the internet? I am a little confuse by that. Thanks for all your help guys.

Check with your school to find out their requirements.

That's a personal choice. To me, 1920x1200 on 17" is too high.
