lenovo IdeaPad Y530-5233U

What you guys think about this model?

I am on the road and need something that will allow me to work on webpages using photoshop cs3 simultaneously in memory and a few other web applications running simultaneuosly.

I do not want to spend an harm and leg for a laptop.

I am looking for a basic laptop with all the necessary hardwares I need especially for wi-fi while on the road. Don't too much care for 64 bit especially because I noticed they do not run zone alarm and I do not know of another trustworthy firewall I can use. Unless someone can suggest one.

Actually I prefer a 10" screen with the same specs or close only because they are easier to travel with.

Also the more reliable batter life I can get the better.

Also I need Rj45/Ehternet because some wi-fi's are crappy and when I can get wired I prefer to use it instead.

Hopefully they ship in about 2/3 days but I don't think they are opened on the weekend so I am not sure if I should order today but I will check that out more closely.

The link...

I might eventually have to process videos and audio files compressing them for websites but at the moment that is not a pressing issue.

Thanks
Dave

That is a decent laptop, but if you want something smaller without blowing the price way up, look at a Dell Inspiron 13.

Not bad GLC

I am not quite clear on batter life
37Whr Lithium Ion Battery (4 cell)?

4 hrs battery life or close would be great since I probably will never actually get that much time anyway.

Hopefully the intel brand chips will manage my battery time well.

Thanks
Dave
