Laptop keeps shutting off
I have a compaq presario 2100 that seems like the processor fan is always running. When you run anything on the internet w/ video it shuts down after a few seconds or if you try to run any program that requires it to think, it shuts down. I tried to run a defrag and a disk cleanup, but it shuts down in the middle. Any ideas?

If the fan seems to be running all the time the heatsink is probably clogged with dust bunnies. Try and look into the exhaust port and if possible blow out any dust you can see in there.
