Cell Phone internet

this one seems stupid to me so im little embarrassed to ask.

i want to use my cellphone as a remote control for stuff on my desktop. mostly winamp.

using google i have found tons of different programs that will do that.

the main problem with that is finding ones that are compatible with my phone.

i found a java one. should work.

(btw this is for a bluetooth remote. and the reason im doing it now is i was able to acquire a bluetooth adapter dongle for my desktop)

my phone is a Samsung a737, im on at&t and for some reason when they made it they decided it was a good idea to only enable java in the "Games and Apps"folder. and to make things further complicated they got greedy and made it to where the only way to get files into that folder is to download them from the internet. i cant do a bluetooth transfer or memory card or usb cable. it has to be from the internet.

my plan doesn't have internet and i cant even access the internet for a fee. it just wont connect.

i searched around the internet and found you can access the internet when you are on your laptop using bluetooth and your amazing web service on your phone as a dial-up connection.

is it possible to reverse this. use the internet on my computer to access the internet on my phone. so i can download this program in to that folder?

i suppose if i cant then i can just barrow a friends sim card who has internet.

You need to try Howard Forums for this type of question. My initial response is that it would be a lot easier to just get a device that can control your PC from a distance rather than going to all the trouble you are talking about here, if its even possible. Try something like this
