Laptop not Charging
Trying to help out a friend who lives in another town. Her laptop (DELL Inspiron 600m) is not responding to the charger. The laptop is about 4 years old and the current battery is about 2 years old. Im just trying to advise her if there is a cost effective fix or if its time for a new laptop.

Trying a new battery would be at the top of the list for me...
I carried a lappy into a BatteryPlus store once and they let me use a new off the shelf battery to test a machine  I was able to confirm that the old Sony required a working battery in able to start....(new battery was more then the lappy was worth)
