ASUS EEEPC confusion!
Hey all, quick question for you. Im in the market for a netbook to serve just as a school computer (typing papers and web browsing). I see ALL over the ASUS 1000HE being rated as the best of the lot. My question is though that its not the newest EEEPC that ASUS has put out. And I dont understand the difference between them.
For example the 1000HE goes for about 400USD but the 1005HA goes for about 300USD... Why? Whats the difference, and is the 1005 worse in some way? If the HE is superior then thats fine, I need it to be reliable and work untill its dead in the ground. As always, thanks... you guys are the best tech-heads I know! |

The 1000HE has a faster processor, higher resolution webcam, and Bluetooth. It also weighs more, probably a larger battery.
Compare the specs yourself: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834220505 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834220554 |
