Laptop LCD screen flickers
emachine M2150 laptop screen sometimes flickers escpecially noticeable as you raise or lower it. Also sometimes it's not as bright as other times. Any suggestions what could be the cause, thanks.

Most laptops have a small ribbon cable or wire loom that connects the bottom half to the upper screen half and after opening and closing it a lot the wires in the cable will sometimes break and cause the flickering. If that's the cause, the only fix that I know of is getting a new one of those cables. They're sometimes hard to find, depending on the manufacturer and the age of the laptop. That would be my guess as to what's wrong though.
