What's the best way to transfer files over a wireless network?

I have three computers in my home. The main one is connected to my DSL modem and wireless router and the other two connected wirelessly. I'm often downloading large files on the main machine, transferring them to a flash drive and re-copying them to the other machines. While this methods works, it's time consuming and clunky. Is there a program or way to simply connect to my main machine and download the finished file to my wireless machines? Thanks.
