HP dv5 laptop video card problems
ok so about a month ago my laptop (hp dv5) hasnt been respawnding when i open it from sleep mode
everyday after i get done playin wow web searchin or watever i close all my programs and then close the screen. latly everytime i go to open the screen the laptop makes noises like it turns on and stays on but im not getting any picture.... so i turn it off/ open and close it a few times untill finally it respawns.. sometimes this takes a long time... then i get a pop up saying your video card was not respawnding please contact hp.. i really dont want to have to send it to hp or back to bestbuy.. is there anything i can do to fix this my self? |

Get into the habit of turning it off or hibernating it when not in use instead of putting it to sleep.
