Source for thinkpad compatible wireless card

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace the Atheros wireless card in my thinkpad x61 with a compatible Intel model (My motivation is better linux driver support). The card is a PCI-Express (or mini pci-E?). Googling around turns up a couple sites claiming to sell compatible cards, such as thinkpad-parts.com, acsparts.com, thinkpadmedic.com. Does anyone have experience dealing with any of these outfits? I'd prefer to use Newegg, but they don't seem to have the type of card I need.
