Swap SSD drives on Eeepc possible ?
I have a 901 Eeepc with 4GB SSD as C primary drive and I think 8GB as D secondary drive.
I am running out of space on the 4GB drive even though I've installed most of the other applications in D drive. (I save my datas on the E removable SD card or external drive) Is it possible to swap the 8Gb for the 4GB and re-install everything on the 8GB ? This will give me more space. Or should I change to a totally new SSD drive of maybe 16GB or 32GB instead ? How should I do it and any important things to take note of ? I'm running windows XP.

In theory - with an external cd drive and a legit XP cd - you can do what ever you want....including just making one large 12gig C drive.

The Eeepc has 2 physical SSDs, a 4GB and 8GB. It can be merged into one virtual 12GB drive ?
Can you advice how it can be done ? I have a external CD drive. |

Are you sure about that? I thought it was a single drive with 2 partitions.

According to this it's two, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASUS_Eee_PC
One 4GB soldered on, one removable 8 GB.

In that case, you should be able to replace the removable one with a larger one - you just have to research compatibility. Then you can reformat the permanent drive and install your OS on the removable one.

Okay thanks. In the bios I can select the SSD to boot so it'll work I believe.
Wow, SSDs are not cheap. |

Nope, and you have to look for specific compatibility with that model Eee.
