Acer Aspire 5517 Touchpad issues!

I'm running Windows 7 Home on an Acer Aspire 5517. I just got this laptop new. However, the touch pad is super screwy! It's bouncing around the page, selecting text, the scrolling is sometimes slow, etc...

How do I adjust the touch pad on this? Any suggestions please?

Thanks!
