compaq presario 1200 xl
Hi, I would like to have your opinion about a compaq presario 1200 xl, the screen does not work I think but I am not sure so I connected the notebook to an external monitor via vga but couldn't see anything in the screen, the problem is that everything seems to work, the fan the hard disk and the lights. What would you think that can be the problem?

There is probably a combination of keys on the keyboard to be clicked to turn on the external video. It is usually the FN key and a key with a blue monitor symbol. If that doesn't work, then the problem is with the on-board video chip.
