laptop for wife: need comments

The boss is makings sounds like she would like a laptop to bring to her meetings
{ she's an officer in a cross stitch guild as well as a group of Quilters }

The only must have for me is wired ethernet to hook up to the home net.

Does she need one that big and powerful? If it would work for her, a netbook is all you need - I love my Asus EeePC.
