Toshiba satellite a215-s7422 won't boot up

When I press the power button on nothing happen, it power up about 2 seconds and power is off. Please help me. Might it be a motherboard problem? Thanks.

Motherboard issue is a possibility. Another is a failed cpu fan. If the mobo doesn't detect a connected/working cpu fan, it will immediately shut down. Another possibility might be the power adapter. When they fail and the computer is running, it will continue to run until the battery drops below useable voltage. Use a Voltmeter and test the adapter to make sure it is still putting out the right voltage. Failing Toshiba ac adapter is a common problem.
