Any downside using laptop batteries that aren't exactly the same?
Hey, I have two slightly different models of an Asus eee PC. One is an 1005HAB with a 10.8V,2200mah,23Wh battery. (A CL find for parts because of a broken screen.)
The other is 1005HA EU....with these battery specs. 10.95V,2600mah,28Wh. I'm guessing that the voltage is close enough? The 2600mah is just the capacity of charge? Is the "Wh" difference of concern? (Did try it and seems to run just fine.) These little netbooks sure are nice to have around and would like to use the HAB parts as backup and the extra battery would be nice. I'm definitely not knowledgeable in these areas and help would be greatly appreciated!! |

Definitely close enough. The HAB battery just won't have as long a life as the other one.
