Issue with Toshiba Tecra touchpad, etc

Greetings and Salutations!

I just joined here and will posting a formal hello in the General Discussion forum momentarily. I am having a problem with my wife's Toshiba Tecra touchpad. The model number is A8-EZ8312. She uses this for work. A new motherboard needed to be installed and the IT girl at her job didn't know how to go about it, so she gave it to me to take care of. After installing the new motherboard, I am having a problem with the touchpad and the corollary left and right click for it and the blue accupoint device and its corollary left and right click. At first I was assuming that i might have shorted something out but the keyboard works and the Accupoint and keyboard get connected to the same module. My other thought was that it was the drivers. I went to the Toshiba website and downloaded what I thought was the correct drivers, but it didn't fix my problem. What else could it be? Am I using the wrong drivers? Is it the BIOS?

Oh, and all of my Fn keys don't seem to be working.

I would go back in, and double check your connections.

I did...about three times. It's not making sense. It seems like a software issue, but the drivers I installed from the Toshiba site didn't work. I would order a new keyboard and touchpad setup, but I don't want to spend all that money and wind up with the problem still.
