Hello Guys,
A customer brought me a laptop for two keys(G,H) not working. I though it coud have been dirt or keycap membrane destroyed but, I realise after testing, the keys actually is not working and I did swap different membrane for working keys, but still not work. Even with everything removed, just the bare "root key", still not. Is there any other technic to do or I need to order the entire keyboard ? Thanks for your help and guide. Thierry

Connect a USB keyboard. If all the keys work on it, order a new keyboard. If the same keys don't work, you have another issue.

Here's a shot in the dark, but it worked for me.
I have a program installed, "Key Tweek", which allows you to map any key to another of your choice i.e. I don't like the Caps Lock on the left, so I changed it to Tab. Recently my "a" key stopped working, so I opened Key Tweek, re-mapped to default (which is the "a" key)...save the change, & Walla...it worked...don't ask me why
