Blackberry Question

Hi All Blackberry Users out there!

I have a Blackberry Curve (or whatever the new one is called from Verizon) and I have a problem. The screen shows that there is 1 new mail message available. I have gone through all email accounts I have on the BB and marked all as opened. I have also gone to the Master Inbox that collects all mail messages and marked all as opened. Finally, I went to my text message inbox and marked all as opened. I don't think there is anything else I could mark as opened.

Finally I did a hard power down and rebooted it. Still there. Any suggestions?

One option is to highlight the latest message that you received .. then go to the menu and do a "mark prior opened". Have you checked your Call logs .. is it sending you Missed Call messages in your inbox?

I have had this happen on my BB 8820 on a couple occasions too. Once I actually found an unopened message in a mail folder, but it just occurred again a couple days ago. Strangely enough, this time it went away on its own. I wonder if it had something to do with not syncing properly on the IMAP mail accounts I use.

Yeah, I've had that happen as well.

I just left it alone after looking for a ghost message. After a few days, the notification just went away.
