New Laptop

Hey fellows need your input on the forthcoming purchase of laptop for my son. He's starting first year mechanical engineering at an university in September and wants a "higher" quality laptop. The idea is that he'll be able to use it for his cad design and any heavy app for school. He is also a bit of a gamer. He came up with this one choice. It is a bit on a pricey side but I am very proud of his achievements and actually considering of buying it. What do you think?

Excellent machine. Only thing you need to check on is if the factory installed OS (W7 HP 64) is compatible with the school's network. Some schools require Pro/Business.
