Asus w3h00v hdd
I have a Asus W3H00V laptop that needs a new hdd. The old one is a Hitachi Travelstar model# HTS 421210H9AT00. What I need to know is: are these HDD propitiatory or can I just order a Seagate or Maxtor replacement and plug it in?.
It's and older IDE drive if that helps. Thanx.....

Any standard IDE laptop drive will work, up to the capacity limit of the bios. That's a 100gb drive, you *MIGHT* be limited to a 120. You would be totally safe with this one:
