Pissed Android Tablet

I was the 1 sucker who bought an Android tablet from Hong Kong on E bay. I was wondering if I could get some help on a few issues? The first is the machine will not charge. I t did for a few days, but now nothing. Is it likely the adapter is bad? I have connected it to my pc and it doesnt seem to draw electricity through the micro usb. Also the charecters are in Chinese and I am going crazy trying to Convert enough Chinese through online translators to find the settings so I can change it to English. Going by the news on the web the only other tablets out now are various engineering samples :

You need a 10 amp charger, if the old one dieing on you is the problem, and I'm not surprised it won't charge from your computer.
The same thing happens with the iPad since the standard usb 2.0 port doesn't have enough power. So an iPod connected to it charges either very slowly or not at all.

If it's anything more I can't help you since I've nothing at all to go on.
Here's the current information about Shanzai, I think that's their tablet you've got, : http://www.sitelogr.com/s/shanzai.com

Android Anger

The one I have looks like an oversized ipod touch. There is a PC world article that shows what looks like the same model.

The only difference is it is white. I can take pictures of it but I dont know how to post them in a thread.. Thanks for the help. It worked for 4 days, I reset it and was trying to get the Chinese charecters back to English and It stopped charging. There was a red led light inside that was lit while it charged, that isnt working now.

AMD Athlon X2 240 2.81
8 GB DDR2 Ram
ATI Radeon HD 4550
1.5 TB hdd

Here is the web page from my ebay account. http://

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270563980005&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

This has the picture. This was really cool for the 4 days it worked. The only thing was the touch screen was resistive and much slower than an ipod or iphone. once you adust for that it was a lot of fun. Not fast, but useful.
