Question planning to get new laptop need help?

Hi i am planing to get a new laptop soon and i have been looking at these 2 laptops what one would be the best to get? one is a dell and the other is an HP

The Dell, simply because historically quite a few HP's die right after the warranty expires.

Well, for $50 more the HP has a bigger, faster hard drive (500G 7200rpm vs 320G 5400rpm) and comes with B-G-N compatible wireless whereas the Dell has only B-G. I'd probably have to give the nod to the HP in this case.

Believe it!!! My DV2000 died after just 20 months. HP was of no help. For some reason my S/N was not on the goodwill warranty repair list. I bought the DV2000 to replace my old Omnibook 4150 that was 10 years old and still working well. Goes to show you how HP quality has dropped in 10 years.
