HTC Hero "Android"
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...anufacture=HTC
Can anyone confirm that this works in the US and Canada? Preferably on Rogers network. I believe the older model didn't. Thanks |

According to the specs the phone operates with these frequencies: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
Rogers uses the 850MHz and 1900MHz bands so the phone is fully supported on the Rogers network. Edit: I was just reading a thread at NCIX and apparently the specs are incorrect on their site http://forums.ncix.com/forums/index....d=0#msg2096673 Apparently the phone is actually on the 900 / 2100 bands and if so, it will not work with any North American carrier as those frequencies are used only by European carriers. If you want one in Canada, Telus sells them.

It is the worlds best technology which gives you the faster performance over the Internet. I have a video of HTC Hero features some of the details after seeing the phone. I recently lost my Samsung Blackjack II, and needed a new smartphone. Android operating system is fantastic, the world is better than Windows Mobile is currently or ever can be. One thing that I was surprised that my contacts something that is going to the Palm. The new facility is incredible spirit, although I never owned an Android phone before so I really can not tell the difference.
