Sony Vaio VGNFZ21S Laptop Problem
I have a Sony Laptop which seems to have problems, When I first switch on there are white lines going from top to bottom over part of the Bios VAIO screen about 30%, then as windows takes over there are lots and lots of random " ) " all over the screen then windows Vista loader starts with the progressive slot at the bottom of the screen, then it Blue screens, if I go into safe mode and uninstall the Display adapter and restart then it starts with the same as above but no blue screen, and installs Display drivers then after restart it blue screens again.
This machine has been running very hot on the underside around the CPU and towards the front so I am wondering if the display chip has been damaged. Also have updated most drivers but can't find BIOS drivers. Would appreciate any help Thanks John |

Yep, that has one of the faulty Nvidia video chips. It's fried. Contact Sony and see if they will extend the warranty.
